This piece, originally composed for a choristers’ commissioning ceremony, is extremely versatile! It is presented here for SATB and keyboard (suitable for either piano or organ), but may also be sung a cappella. It can also be performed as a unison anthem for treble choir, by singing only the soprano line (which features an optional three-part divisi at the end). The text, affirming the presence of Christ in all we do, is fitting for a multitude of liturgical contexts, including at ordinations or whenever themes of ministry and social justice are present.
