One of our greatest callings as Christ's disciples is to be his hands and feet—serving others, showing his love, helping our fellow man. With the eight songs on Cristo No Tiene Pies en el Mundo sino los Tuyos (Christ has no feet in this world but yours), their second collection with OCP, Estela García-López and Rodolfo López encourage us to live out that calling wholeheartedly. Keenly aware of the need for peace, love and justice in the world, this talented duo continues to create music inspired by God's word that strengthens our faith.

The collection has an overall contemporary feel, with musical styles that include reggaeton, ballad, rock and even a bonus rap song on the CD, featuring Jon Carlo García. The recording also includes a guest appearance by Tom Booth on "Open Our Eyes." Compelling and prayerful, the lyrics are inspired by Scripture, the writings of the saints and Pope Francis' apostolic letters, among other sources, ideal for Eucharistic adoration.

Some of the songs offer musical settings of texts that have yet to be set to music, including the title track based on Saint Teresa of Avila's well-known prayer, the writings of Saint Vincent de Paul in "Fuego Divino" and the Divine Praises in "Bendito Sea Dios." Beautifully composed, each song offers a wonderful backdrop for a strong message that is well-founded in Catholic theology. Catholic parishes that want to unite communities with Spanish or bilingual Masses or special occasions can count on a fresh sound with liturgical language.

The guitar songbook provides guitar and voicing (varying from unison and two-part to three-part and SAB), along with helpful composer notes from Estela and Rodolfo in Spanish for each of the eight songs. Along with the eight songs, the CD also offers the bonus rap track and Spanish-only recordings for Misa Santa Cecilia, their bilingual Mass setting, which will be a great resource for the Spanish speaking Catholic community. (Accompaniment parts for the Mass setting can be found here.)
