Festive and joyous, this three-stanza hymn for SAB chorus and organ will enliven any liturgy during the Easter season as well as feasts such as the Ascension and Christ the King. Fanfares in the accompaniment and unison dotted rhythms in the choral parts contribute to the celebratory feel, as does the diatonic framework, which is occasionally brightened by Mendelssohnian chromatic passing chords.
