This choral setting for unaccompanied SATB is a fresh and unique take on Psalm 34! The first half of the psalm text (“Taste and see that the Lord is good”) functions as an antiphon, preceding and following the contrasting music for “happy are they who trust in him!” At a slim 37 measures, this piece is useful any Sunday of the year as a short anthem after Communion.
