Christ Our Passover
Based on the Communion Antiphon for the Easter Vigil, this beautiful, stately assembly song is a reflection on Christ’s sacrifice and reminds us how Jesus turned his Passion and death into a free act of self-offering to God and for humankind, an act that is tied to our recurring ritual context of Eucharistic reception. It is simply scored for SATB choir with piano and guitar accompaniment and would be an appropriate Communion song throughout the Easter season.
