Featuring vibrant tunes with rich, meaningful lyrics and comforting, prayerful melodies, Love Goes On from Bernadette Farrell captures hearts and minds alike. Drawn from Scripture—particularly the psalms—these songs invite participation from the assembly and their lush harmonies engage your choir in active worship. The album is great for personal reflection, and will save on valuable rehearsal time when used in conjunction with the choral songbook by familiarizing your choir with the songs before sharing them in service.

Ranging from African rhythms and choral anthems to organ and trumpet ensembles, this eclectic blend of music provides a wealth of experiences for the listener, whether alone or in groups large and small. Bernadette has pulled from a variety of sources to create this album: Joanna Alstott provided the text for the songs “Cradle Me;” while Bernadette’s late father, Ambrose Farrell, wrote “I Waited for the Lord” (lovingly performed here in tribute). Additional influences include St. Teresa of Avila, Mother Teresa and even patrons of peace Mahatma Gandhi and Mildred Nevile.

Even while working tirelessly for the common good, Bernadette has blessed us with these songs of hope and trust in the Lord, songs that will be equally welcome in your personal collection or your parish's liturgical repertoire!
