A collection of songs that reflect the different musical cultures experienced by the composer during his time of ministry in the Church, Greatness & Glory Are Yours has elements of gospel, folk music, hymns and music influenced by Hispanic culture. Though the styles are very distinct, all the songs encourage the participation of the assembly.
The pieces employ a brass section, strings, pipe organ, Hammond organ and drums, among other instruments. With music for rituals that range from baptism and discipleship to ordination and funerals, this music has an ecumenical appeal and can be used throughout the year to give thanks and praise to God.
Grayson's hope is that when his music is sung in church, people will leave the sanctuary humming joyfully.
