Enter the Journey is an exciting set of practical resources for teachers, religious education leaders, parish music directors and worship planners, featuring inspirational music and choreography for occasions within the liturgy as well as the classroom.

It also provides musical settings for specific celebrations within the school year, such as Catholic Schools Week, the opening and closing of the academic year, Ash Wednesday, first Eucharist and Reconciliation, holy days and other ritual gatherings.

Upbeat and spirited, this contemporary music will delight children of all ages. Containing 15 songs and a Mass setting, Enter the Journey ranges in style from tender ballads to toe-tapping gospel numbers that employ Hammond organs and electric guitar. A well-trained children's choir accompanies most songs. Disc B in the 2-CD set, which contains instrumental versions of all the songs on Disc A, may be used as background accompaniment (for occasions outside the liturgy).

Teachers will find the composer notes and suggestions in the songbook indispensable. The book also includes helpful guitar chord charts, assembly editions and topical/ritual, liturgical, seasonal, scriptural and event indexes.

The CD-ROM provides video demonstrations of choreography that children can perform with the music, with Donna Anderle giving easy-to-follow explanations and direction.

Note: Contains some Mass parts that are no longer approved for liturgical use.
