This collection of 21 carols captures the essence of Christmas. In addition to the more familiar carols like “Angels We Have Heard on High” and “Joy to the World,” Sing We Now of Christmas has eight carols from around the world, including songs from France, Spain, Germany, Italy and Poland like “Quittez, Pasteurs” and “Canzone D’i Zampognari.” All of the songs in the collection have been masterfully arranged, and the non-English carols have verses in English as well as the original language.
The pieces are easy to moderately difficult, and all but three are arranged for choirs. With fresh and original arrangements Sing We Now of Christmas will add a wonderful variety to a traditional Christmas repertoire.
