‘I Am the Bread of Life:’ Steve Angrisano and Tom Booth

“I am the Bread of Life, I am the hope in night, I am the door wide open, I am the shepherd’s might, I am the truth and light, I am the way and life, I am who am and I am for you: come and follow me.”

Once lost, now found, the song “I Am the Bread of Life,” was created as a collaboration between Steve Angrisano and Tom Booth. The song is about the core of our faith, the Eucharist — and the lyrics remind us to bring our whole selves to church, including our brokenness and vulnerability.
