Bio
Sylvia Sánchez has been a member of the Hispanic National Institute of Liturgy for the last 15 years. She studied courses in liturgy, theology, philosophy at St. Leo University in San Antonio, Florida. She became interested in liturgical subjects when she was working in children's catechesis at Incarnation Parish in the Diocese of St. Petersburg, Florida.Her workshops focus on topics related to ministries, basic liturgical knowledge and multi-culturalism. Silva Sánchez teaches courses in liturgy, discernment and spirituality at the Diocesan Institute of Pastoral Ministry. Currently, she is a member of the Diocesan Liturgy Commission.
Sylvia is the co-author of Don y Promesa/Gift and Promise, Segunda Edición: Customs and Traditions in Hispanic Rite of Marriage.
