Following in the tradition of the St. Thomas More Group, this collection of liturgical compositions by Stephen Dean features several musical styles: traditional, choral, contemporary ballads and hymns. It features music for Eucharist, baptisms, funerals and morning prayer as well as seasonal selections for Advent, Christmas, Lent and Easter. Also featured is the beautiful "Magnificat" by Anne Ward—not a setting of the biblical text, but a rendition on the events of Mary's life.
Based on a Catalan carol melody, "What Shall We Give" is a beautiful lesson in utter simplicity. SATB voicing is provided, but it can also be sung simply, in unison by an assembly at Christmas.
Walk with Christ is designed to use a wide range of instruments, making it adaptable to whatever resources you have at hand.
